Hi all !
Today we are going to give external speed reference with potentiometer to MX2 Frequency Inverter.
Although that document contain application on MX2 inverter , these all information valid for JX , RX and LX inverters too.
There is only difference RX and LX , have -10V , +10V second terminal O2 which allows us to read additionally analog voltage input.
Let’s move on to application.
First of all , parameters should be arranged.
In order to get frequency source from O or OI terminals , A001 parameter should be set as 01.
A005 should be equal 02 in order to get frequency source from O terminal.
A011 and A012 parameters which are showed with red arrow , represent start and end frequency respectively in terms of HZ unit.
A013 and A014 parameters which showed with green arrow , represent start and end active portion of the input voltage range .
A004 determine the maximum output frequency limit in inverter. In order to monitor 0-10V analog input clearly , lets set this parameter 100 in terms of Hz unit.
A011 = 0 ; // Start Frequency , A012 = 100 ; // End Frequency
A013 = 0 ; // Start Ratio , A014 = 100 ; // End Ratio
Wiring of the terminal to potentiometer can be seen from wiring picture.
In order to monitor potentiometer’s output instantly , a multi-meter has connected with potentiometer’s output.
Our system is ready now ! Lets RUN !
As soon as press RUN button on the inverter , inverter give output according to analog reference which coming from potentiometer’s output to inverter’s O and L terminal.
For instance ;
If potentiometer’s output reach the 7.2 Volt , inverter’s output reach 72.0 Hz.
If potentiometer’s output reach the 10.0 Volt , inverter’s output reach 100.0 Hz.
This post determine change the output of inverter with external analog voltage input with potenitometer. Same application can be done with analog current too.
If you try to analog current , i advise you to evaluate MX2’s User Manual.
You can ask your question freely from erhanesk.technic@gmail.com to me 🙂
I’m not sure exactly why but this blog is loading very slow for me.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it a issue on my end?
I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
I dont know the any detailed information about your situation , if you write me from erhanesk.technic@gmail.com i may share that document with you.
Kind Regards
